VOID CHAT Child Safety Standards
1. Purpose
These Child Safety Standards describe how VOID CHAT addresses child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). They support Google Play’s CSAE requirements for our 13+ messaging and social app and align with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM
VOID CHAT has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. We prohibit creating, sharing, soliciting, storing, or linking to any sexual content involving minors (anyone under 18), including CSAM and grooming or exploitative conduct directed at minors. Violations can result in content removal, permanent account bans, and referral to law enforcement or other authorities where appropriate.
3. Age eligibility (13+)
VOID CHAT is not for children under 13. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use the App. The App is not directed at children under 13. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we will delete it, consistent with our Terms and Privacy Policy. Users aged 13–17 may use the App only with a parent or guardian’s permission where required by law.
4. Prohibited sexual content involving minors
You may not post, send, request, or distribute sexual content involving minors — whether real, depicted, or generated — including in messages, posts, reels, Beams, profiles, or any other feature. This ban applies even if the content is claimed to be fictional. Sexual content involving anyone under 18 is forbidden on VOID CHAT.
5. How to report
If you see content or behaviour that may involve CSAE, CSAM, grooming, or other child sexual exploitation:
- In-app: Use the report controls in the App (for example report on a profile, message, post, reel, or Beam) so our team can review the report.
- Email: Write to support@voidchat.tech with the subject line Child Safety Report. Include links, usernames, screenshots, or other details that help us find the content or account.
You can also block users in the App to stop further contact while a report is reviewed.
6. Review, removal, and enforcement
We review child-safety reports we receive. When a violation is confirmed or strongly indicated, we may remove content, restrict features, suspend or permanently ban accounts, and take other steps reasonably needed to protect users. We are not able to read every end-to-end encrypted message in transit, but we still act on reports and on content we can access (such as public posts, reels, Beams, and report packages users submit).
7. Cooperation with authorities
Where we become aware of illegal CSAE/CSAM or related exploitation, we may preserve relevant records and report or refer the matter to appropriate law enforcement or other competent authorities, and we cooperate with lawful requests. We do not claim registration with any specific tip-line or certification body on this page; our commitment is to take reports seriously, enforce our rules, and work with authorities as required by law.
